Review on UANAX Deterrents Ultrasonic Deterrent Ultrasound Dogs : Training & Behavior Aids by Sharon Watson

But doesn't work as expected

I have 3 dogs, a corgi mix (we call her Chicken Mimi) because she's scared of everything and 2 nasty min pins. I bought the unit primarily for two little Tasmanian devils as we seem to have some sort of holiday bark every day now. So here is my experience from unboxing to installing, testing and adjusting the battery. 1. Add a battery and play around with the start button to figure out how to test it. The moment the TEST sounded my corgi mix ran into the back room where she trembled and refused to come out. 2 min pins barked here and there but didn't seem to care.2. Okay, the test worked, so now set it to level 1. The corgi is still out of sight, the twins barking as I try to put on their harnesses to go for a walk. Still not working for her.3. Coming home from a walk, I tried to speak to an already terrified corgi and every time I spoke I saw a flash of green light. Hm. Yes, the green light indicates that the device has picked up the sounds of the "barking". So yes, it's a deterrent, but not for overly sensitive furries. Also, it's responsive to conversations in the same room, so the design and functionality are definitely not perfect. I went back to the drawing board to figure out how to get a little more control over the endless chorus. Much luck!
