I ended up using this method more than my traditional mushroom anchor. This brush anchor allows me to cover the water much faster because it only takes a second to attach and detach. The traditional anchor still has its place, but that's a problem if you're still looking for a place and have to pull up and down frequently. This is ideal for meandering rivers and areas with overhanging vegetation. I would recommend buying extra paracord to make the line a little longer. In some good spots I had to forego anchoring because the branch was a few inches higher. I understand why they included a shorter paracord, you get blown less, but I would prefer a longer cord that I can tie to the right length. Everything else is perfect, I plan to buy more.
