Essential Tool for Kayaking

I ended up using this method more than my traditional mushroom anchor. This brush anchor allows me to cover the water much faster because it only takes a second to attach and detach. The traditional anchor still has its place, but that's a problem if you're still looking for a place and have to pull up and down frequently. This is ideal for meandering rivers and areas with overhanging vegetation. I would recommend buying extra paracord to make the line a little longer. In some good spots I hadโ€ฆ

Good design, durable, ideal for kayakers

Looks and feels quite heavy. I like the idea of how it was designed. When force is applied, the leash not only tightens around the object to which it is attached, but after being pulled as tight as possible, the jaws tighten. This way you don't have to rely on spring tension or have to manually drive the jaws into the object. It's easy, clip and go. Easy to hook in, I added a carabiner to the bottom of the rope for easy attachment to the boards. To our delight, on one excursion we spotted a sunken picnic table a few feet away and were able to use the brush handle on theโ€ฆ

Kayak Fishing - Kayaking

The camouflage is actually a flat olive gray and I think the paracord cable is camouflage too. It stops by rivers and along mangrove banks in salt flats for about a month. Sturdy, works well. The paracord setup is a loop around the inner handles of the tensioner and jaw section so the tension squeezes the jaws together. which in turn leaves the paracord line hanging slightly awkwardly from jaw to jaw when open. The line must be slack so that it does not interfere with the work of the jaw. Youโ€ฆ
