This has really improved the comfort of my Oculus! I had a lot of trouble putting the headset on properly and not only did it take the weight off my face and reduce the chance of the Oculus slipping off, it also greatly reduced the screen door effect because I was able to put it on properly. the purple band actually shimmers a bit. It reminds me of the iridescent purple of the 90's and I really love retro styles. I have a light purple face pad and it's still a nice shade to create a very cohesive look. The material is non-absorbent and easy to clean. The straps for attaching to the headband feel very secure to me and hold in place well. The velcro is wide, has a plastic backing, and is sturdy, but that doesn't detract from the convenience. Although this type of velcro may seem cheaper, I think it works very well with this product as it doesn't flex or allow the pad to move. Another reviewer said it disconnected and to be honest I don't see it happening to me. Either the seams were reinforced, or other buyers got an inferior batch. Even if I had to reinforce the velcro myself (which I don't) I would definitely consider it a good buy.
