Relieves the lower back, similar to a lumbar support in a car.

I like my bike seat, it's comfortable and it helps with back pain. For me, it's like sitting in an office chair. When coasting, I lean back and enjoy the ride. The only problem with this seat is getting in and out of it. I used to swing my leg like a horse, but with this seat I had to relearn how to sit. I think an old dog can learn a new trick.
