Size WAY down! The 18 month size fits my 4.5 year old and the 4-5 will possibly fit my 7 year old niece.The material is not cotton, it's a blend so they will definitely not be worn on hot days.The pattern and cut are super cute so we'll be keeping them, just ordering a way smaller size for the little one.
