. This is the second one I have (the first was Kaz but it's the same product). I've seen all the reviews that mentioned leaks and here's what I learned from my first one: you don't have to worry about leaks unless the tank is losing air. If the lid/stem is not fully sealed, or the tank is cracked, etc., an air leak will occur. DO NOT attempt to repair or repair it quickly at home. In this case, replace the cap and/or tank with factory parts. Once you have an air leak in the tank, water will flow uncontrollably into the sump, overflow and out of the unit (would you rather not have a drain hole and flood the electrical parts?). As long as you inspect the tank regularly and take care of it, you won't have any problems. My only criticism of my new device: the previous one I had (the Kaz branded model) had a non-removable bezel over the headlight (the plastic piece at the top that's shaped like a star). On the newer model, it unscrews, or rather, pops out almost every time you remove the tank! It has a slightly protruding lip that catches the edge at the bottom of the tank and it's almost impossible to remove the tank without removing the bezel. That's the only reason I deducted a star. I love it, it's quiet, the water tank lasts at least 24 hours on night mode, it's attractive and my little one loves the stars and colors projected.
