Review on Alpine SPR 10TW 1 Inch Component Tweeters by Shree Carmean

Switched from 1" Infinity Kapa tweeters to JBL GTO tweeters but was disappointed. Too bright (sharp tone). A little about my setup: A 2009 Tahoe with a Kenwood double din head unit and an Alpine 125W x 4 digital amplifier. I used the factory tweeter layout on my Tahoe. I was a bit skeptical about buying a third pair of tweeters. I no longer needed the door components as they were replaced, just 1 inch tweeters. It's hard to find separate tweeters. Tweeter disassembled into nothing you will see what I mean these are type R tweeters this is one of the best quality tweeters on the market so don't be fooled by the affordable price on amazon you will love the sound and love the crossover power control "Odb, -2db, -4db, -6db". I played with 0 dB and -2 dB. I have no idea how they will sound with a factory head unit or an aftermarket unamplified one. I have these things that fight with tons of energy and absorb it. Don't waste your money on anything other than these. So many mounting options and the design is designed to accommodate all different mounting options.
