No longer working well for computer accessories and peripherals

This is my third product from this company - two USB to HDMI plugs and then this USB hub. All three stopped working after 6 months of normal use. My guess is that the connections in the main cable - from the USB-C to the hub - will loosen over time. I would not recommend these products to friends as they wear out and break within a year. I am trying to contact their support team to see if the issue can be resolved.
