Conclusion: You can dry all your stuff with the dishwashing basket, especially with a pull-out tray. It could have been made more efficient as anything that fits anywhere except the raised slots for plates and lids would fall into the swamp. Pros: - "stainless steel" and plastic hardware - angle of expandable tray drains water well - clever design of dish rack with water drain - durable drink holder Cons: - the pins that hold the metal frame are very elegant. They broke trying to insert the drawer into the dish rack. They are made of plastic. It would be better to weld them together - all the joints of the square metal frame are held together with pins. Must be welded together - the water pan is not designed to allow ALL the water to flow out of the spout. The gradient is not sufficient to allow the water to drain completely from the gutter. As a result, standing water can remain and cause mold. (My solution was to use a drip mat under the dryer. This allows me to just clean the drip mat instead of opening the water tray to get the bumps and cracks out, which are really hard to get to.)
