EDIT** I still don't like this design but after using it with a cell phone camera it's starting to annoy me. It's lightweight and portable, and easy to set up for these purposes. This is a better price than I've seen this product at reputable photo stores. That being said, I'll leave my original review standing: I really don't know what they were thinking when designing this. I would never attach that heavy, clunky thing to the front of my expensive DLSR camera. Can you mount it directly on a tripod and hang your camera on the lens? it just boggles my mind. If they want to promote it for use with DLSR they need to provide some sort of support for both the camera and the teleprompter as I see pretty much every other teleprompter in this price range. I solved this problem with a friction arm on a tripod and it works because there is practically nothing wrong with this simple design as it is nothing more than a glass plate placed at a 45 degree angle to the camera lens. Teleprompter experience, but I could build one for about $15, and for $20 I could make a really usable one.
