I have a small (8") and a large (36") level, but this in-between size (16") is what I really use for the most of my need home renovation projects.The magnetic feature of this layer is the biggest bonus for my needs as it frees up my hands to work with jigs, cords or tools.Apart from the magnet at the bottom edge, it's also nice to have a backlight especially when you've turned off the main power to do something electrical.I rarely use the other functions, but if you're into carpentry you'll find the angle measurement and "hold" functions useful.
