Review on Siless Liner 314 mil 18 sqft Aluminum Foil Finish Sound Deadening & Heat Insulation Closed Cell Foam - PE Foam Sound Deadener for Cars by Jason Paige

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Self-Covering Foam PE Sheet, Foil Faced, 15.75 " x 165 " Roll Soundproofing

When I travel, road noise can be a nuisance as my car is older. This is a good sized roll of sound deadening closed cell PE foam with a foil face and an adhesive backing that is reasonably heat resistant. I can fit it into the door panel - lots of work - or install a subwoofer around the trunk to reduce rattling. It's possibly less sound deadening than the denser closed cell butyl foam I've seen. This requires thorough surface cleaning and degreasing as it will not adhere well to a waxed, dirty or oily surface. The temperature during application must be above 55 degrees Fahrenheit. It is easy to cut with a razor. This material requires my own roller to compress it after gluing to ensure the best soundproofing and adhesion. The photos give an idea of the roll and the material. The instructions are on the box. I know it's not recommended for places where it's wet or oily, and it has a 215 degree Fahrenheit temperature limit. It's not a silencer, but it can muffle the noise! I recommend this Siless Store Liner 314 mil 18 sq.ft. Aluminum Foil Car Trim Closed-cell acoustic and thermal insulation foam. I hope you found the information and my review helpful.
