The buttons on the original Samsung remote control began to fail. I had to press very hard to get them to register. It has the same form factor as Samsung's original remote but has raised buttons. A bit strange at first, but after a while I find it better than the original. Installation couldn't be easier! Just put batteries in and it works. Zero programming with my KS8000. It's way better than the Samsung replacement. Even if that fails within a year, you can buy plenty of these before hitting the cost of a genuine Samsung remote.
