The shorts look exactly like the product picture, the fabric has a shimmering cube pattern. However, the material (100% nylon) is much stronger than I would have thought, even quite stiff. The shorts are also quite large and have a wide cut. My 6-year-old son is wearing size 116 right now, but the shorts are still visible on him way too big.
