. You get what you pay for in terms of quality. The hardware was cheap, and with two inserts to put the screws in, I had to struggle to get it to work even with the needle aligned. Some comments suggested that the instructions are really hard to understand - this is furniture that comes ready to assemble - if you are used to RTA furniture then the instructions are annoying as they don't show the location of the front and back to explain. If you're not used to RTA furniture, the guide is sure to annoy you. You can't change the cat's opening to the left side - I saw a poster ask for that. Just his right side. In addition, the table is not durable. I can slide it from side to side until the bottom "legs" move. So if you're looking for a solid cabinet that will hold something heavy on it, I'd be tired. Remember that it has no extra ventilation holes and is made of pressed wood. When your pet steps out of the box, the wood absorbs the smell and in no time at all you'll have an unpleasant odor that you can't get rid of. I saw a similar cat table made out of "Ecoflex". They named him and said he didn't soak up anything and could be wiped clean. I put an automatic cat box in mine and you can see it took up all the space. I also drilled holes in the back so I can put a plug in for the cat box and also added some airflow/ventilation. Additional holes probably won't do much, but more and more holes can be drilled if needed.
