Review on 🔌 MEAN WELL LRS-150-12 Enclosed Switchable Power Supply: 150W 12V, 12.5 Amp for Optimal Performance by Balthazar Cooper

I bought this as a 12v driver for several echo points that are installed in the wall throughout my house. At 1.25 amps per point, that's only 6.25 amps (max) for 5 points, that's a lot of overhead on this nice device. Overall I'm very satisfied - it has a nice form factor and two +/- outputs; I appreciate the LED that indicates when power is applied. There are a couple of minor things that could be improved: first, a protective strip for the terminals is missing - the 120V terminals are exposed, and most importantly, the power terminal is right on the corner where you would screw it. I'd really like to see a protective strip covering exposed ports just for extra security. The second is probably just this module - it "hums" - I think it's the transformer resonating. I don't worry too much about it since it runs in the wall (behind a removable panel) but I have to mention it anyway. But I'm still happy with it - it's a good little stock at a great price.
