The middle (longer) bolts worked great, but the smaller outer bolts don't go as deep into the cylinder heads as the factory bolts and mine started when tightened peeling off because they weren't gripping the threads enough, so I had no choice but to reinstall the original screws where they were tightened properly. For the record, these were installed on a 1996 Monte Carlo with a 3.1, so do yourself a favor and keep the factory bolts, but replace the 4 longer bolts as they have sealant on both the threads and the underside of the bolt heads need , and they really go. with pre-applied sealant.
