These pants are interesting light-weight fabric that would be good for camping or outdoor activity. The waist measurements are accurate (My husband takes a L and these fit him fine) but the legs are very wide and roomy. The length is also long. He's 5' 10: and would have to have them taken up about 2". Great pockets and a good modern look. When the shorts are unzipped, they too are very long, coming over his knee. I'm not sure why they didn't make the zipper higher because you usually want your shorts a bit shorter. They do dry quickly so if you use them in water they won't stay wet. I'd say these are for taller men, probably 6' and up.
