Review on Portable Acoustics JBL Charge 4, 30W, grey by Bali Benkgonk ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Mediocre product, probably won't use.

I've dreamed about it for a long time, and now the stars have aligned. The first impression is twofold, closer to disappointment. I watched a lot of reviews, I knew that there was only one speaker, and two of them were bought to connect to TWS. I figured out how to connect the speakers to each other for a long time, but I was unpleasantly surprised by the complete absence of any instructions. Having figured it out, I realized that by default the connection is in PartyBoost mode, and switching to a stereo pair is only through the application. That is, the use case with a telecom or computer via bluetooth is no longer . The second unpleasant surprise is huge, simply monstrous sound delays, which absolutely exclude watching videos / YouTube, delays of the order of half a second. As a result, I got a minijack cable, and when I want to watch a movie with good sound, I connect the speakers via AUX, since it is here. In general, my opinion is this: the speakers are good, but only for listening to music) If I had known the jambs in advance, I would not have bought it. For 12 kilorubles, which cost me two speakers, I would look for either one more powerful, or two, but with normal pairing / connection.

Pros
  • The sound is good. Type-C charging. The look is just the bomb.
Cons
  • At a volume of more than 3/4 cuts low frequencies mercilessly, playing falsetto). Connect+ is the smartest way to pair speakers I've seen.
