I bought these flat zip bars to convert my mountain bike to gravel riding. For this purpose it is ideal. The 6061 aluminum ensures a pleasantly smooth ride on gravel roads and hilly trails. It's a bit rough on steep, rocky descents, but much faster in all other situations, so the compromise is worth it for me. The oval part of the top fits very well in the hand. At $56, it's not a bad price, and it's on par with Richie bars.
