This little unit fits easily in my Ford F-150 truck. It was just the small barrier I needed between my front seats. I have a husky and she would always try to crawl from the back seat to the console to look out the front window. It wasn't safe for her because if she was standing on the console when I had to stop quickly, she risked going through the windshield if I had to stop quickly. That little barrier was enough to keep her inside, and now she stays in the back seat with no other restrictions. She is of course very smart and quickly realized that she no longer climbs into the front seat. I highly recommend it
