Review on ⏰ Black Slim Panoramic Atomic Wall Clock with Table Stand - MARATHON CL030068 (Black/Black Stainless Steel) by John Ford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice upgrade from the previous one

I had another vendor's clock on this small wall in a large room. I have a watch elsewhere and the Revain Echo show is newer and bigger so I can't look anywhere and see the time but it's been right where I've had hours since we built the house. , so it's always a reflex to look there first, even if I'm looking at the TV with another digital clock in the entertainment center just below. Mostly muscle memory. The one I had was a different brand and worked fine for a few years but recently it started to break down completely, changed time, year, day, went from 12 to 24 hours, all with new batteries. and nuclear signal timing is off (because the signal is bad here in Wisconsin). In the end I decided to throw it away and get something else. I needed something with a center hook, not two hanging points. I didn't want to bother with refinishing things on the wall, I had a nail there, I wanted to keep using that single nail. And it works great for him. The setup is simple and can be easily changed 12/24 as I prefer the 24 hour format as a veteran. Easy to change F/C at will. When you first turned it on, the screen seemed cracked and the liquid crystal was "splashing" all over the place. Within a minute or two, he began to "clean up." LOVE big numbers. I don't wear glasses, but it's still nice to see big numbers. The full-screen digits alone were for the old watch, but I can still see the date, temperature, and humidity inside, it's just smaller around the edge, which is fine with me. So far it has been reliable and has held up a good time. So for the price it's probably the best I've had of this type.

Pros
  • Easy to read panel
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish
