It's so amazing. The water where I live is hard. Even after filtering. I have tried all chemicals and they are great for nitrates and pH but not for water softening. I googled what to use and peat moss came up. I add it to every aquarium in my filters and the difference is really noticeable. All of my fish seem much happier and their colors are so vibrant. My poor blood red parrot cichlid has started developing black spots due to poor water quality. Even 48 hours after putting it in the aquarium, the black color has disappeared and its beautiful orange-red color has returned. My platinum faucet is amazing, its silver/black color has never been brighter. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone struggling with hard water. And yes, a little goes a long way. 4 tanks from 10 to 36 gallons and I hardly used any of the product.
