I recently remodeled my office and routed all the cables to give it a more minimalistic look. All of my existing outlets and surge protectors were unavailable and I had to walk a lot to get anything plugged in. I came across this article while looking for a solution and it was perfect. It has an independent switch, four connectors and two USB ports. This is perfect for my needs as most of my electronics are plugged into existing (hidden) outlets. It helps for those random things that you need a quick outlet for - chargers, tablets, etc. It does exactly what it's supposed to and looks great!
