I bought a quality Fellows brand wrist rest that has been in daily use for 15 years. It was then that Fellows decided to cut corners and make a disappointingly low-quality product. One I stopped before I even knew how far their standards had fallen. I tried this one and the first noticeable difference was the memory foam, similar to pillows and mattresses. The base of the palm rest is also solid, which offers stability during transport but is hardly significant in normal use. I prefer this because the aforementioned Fellows palm rest (both the good one from many years ago and the current one) is too flexible. This flexibility will cause the fabric cover to detach from the base and everything will begin to fall apart. HyperX should not suffer from such problems.
