Review on Thomas Bates Hiker Belt Black by Devin Maselli

I was looking for a replacement for my leather straps that would allow for a better fit, but the webbing on this strap was too thin (about 0.09 inch) and too narrow (1- 1/ 4 inch)). The thinness of the material meant it wrinkled and bunched in the back instead of lying flat. The locking mechanism worked well, but it's plastic and I was wondering how long it would last. I ended up replacing it with a heavier woven belt (1-1/2" wide x .12" thick) with a metal buckle that was more like a leather belt in terms of size and durability, but still offered the adjustability needed. .
