Well my first impression was WOW these boots are good! My second thought was. I hope they hold? Well, they endured a little more than one brutal caning a year. I weigh 300 pounds and these boots have taken all my weight and any punishment I could inflict on them. The fit was fantastic and the comfort was Cadillac quality. The only thing that sucks in my opinion is that I could only use them for a year, otherwise I would order them again. Whatever the time, they really are great boots and can take a beating. I recommend doing a good waterproofing every 3-6 months if you are doing anything that involves major construction work near water. Even though they are waterproof, I still wanted to be on the safe side. They also wick moisture away from the foot and are almost odorless. I am a professional pool engineer and stand 10-16 hours a day and towards the end of the boots life I actually noticed joint pain in my feet due to outsole failure (see photo). I gave them a full five stars because they deserve the Wolverine title.
