I bought these to wear with my new winter boots which were too tight to wear with my bulky Costco merino wool hiking socks. It's been about five months and I'm very happy with them. The winter was mild so I didn't need special boots, but I wear these socks almost every day. They are very comfortable, keep my feet warm and wick moisture for the most part. I try to wash them on a cold gentle cycle and line dry, but I've washed them warm and tumble dried them a few times and they don't seem to be affected. I'
