I bought this to pack some car interior parts. It wasn't as easy as some of the YouTube videos would suggest, but after an hour or two of fiddling, the intricate details were straightforward. I couldn't believe how soft the vinyl got with very little heat. The heat gun turns it into a rubbery material. For the price you almost have to buy it. [UPDATE] I've bought this multiple times. The pattern looks identical, but some sellers roll it differently. I had success on my first roll and then on my second, the small pieces were good but the larger flat pieces didn't lay down properly. I noticed that during the second roll the carbon had rolled outwards, so when I put it down it wanted to roll inwards. Vvivid's product has been rolled up with carbon on the inside, so you can unroll it when you put it down, which makes working with a large flat screen much easier. [UPDATE 2] Well, it seems like all manufacturers now roll vinyl "outside." I unrolled it, laid it out in the hot sun, and loosely swung it the other way. Let it cool, then lay a large flat plate with absolutely zero blisters Definitely a very nice $5!
