Okay so now that I've had a chance to ride this board a bit I can give an honest review. I ordered this board while living in Alaska and only had a few opportunities to ride it, but now that I've been in Florida for the last month I could really use it. First, the deck itself is beautiful. Light, robust and compact. I love the shape and length of this board as I'm more of a snowboarder at heart, but I want compatibility over a full sized longboard. A mini cruiser is the way to go and the 27 inch penny board is way too narrow for my riding style. In addition, the standard rollers and bearings on the board are functional and provide enough speed and distance for beginners. I personally replaced the wheels with Orangutang cones 80mm and Reds Bones Ceramic bearings. I don't even feel the cracks in the pavement anymore and I keep going further and faster than everyone else with a lot less thrust. Finally, the price is absolutely steep. Little. Not too few. My daughter paid $100 for a 21 inch Penny deck and I won't beat Penny but will give myself a wood over plastic composite deck any day. I think the feel, flex and response of a wood deck just can't be beat. I think I'm from the old school. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this deck to anyone who enjoys skating or dying.
