If you only need 1000w buy this one. It will handle everything within its capabilities without ruining your stuff. The instructions are simple and in good English. DO NOT switch it on to drive a load when connected through a transfer switch. Many of these need constant power! It's heavy and very pretty if you like metallic blue. Get the remote control, sold separately. Absolutely worth the extra price. The device will beep and turn off when the batteries are low. When they are low, you can plug it in and it will automatically charge them for you. Review: I wish there were caps on the input terminals instead of leaving open terminals. Also, the mounting slots can be slightly larger for larger mounting screws. They are suitable for flat mounting, but wall mounting requires larger hardware.
