Fits well and these are good solid boots. The problem is that the laces end well before the tip of the shoe, more specifically the tip of the tongue, creating a significant gap that allows A LOT of snow to get under the tongue to where the laces are. If overtightened, the snow won't penetrate further into the boot, but will leave at least a good inch of the inside of the tongue wet. They have a nice fluffy lining that kept my son's feet warm apart from the top tongue. A thick fluffy lining is almost harmful, because once it is wet it dries for a very long time.
