Based on the other reviews I assumed I should get the 2xl. I found the 2x to be way too baggy even with the strap tightened down as far as it would go. Left all the tags on and had a very painless return and purchased the 1xl, absolutely love it. I bought this vest to go with a two piece suit I had, that I was planning on wearing to my anniversary dinner at a fine Italian restaurant, I received a handful of compliments from both staff and guests, with a few asking where I had gotten the vest. The quality is great and it feels very rugged, just as solid as the 80-100+ vests at department stores and designer shops.
