Yes, this is an eyeglass repair kit. I've been wearing glasses for 50 years, so I know a bit about eyeglass repairs. It's not fashionable. This is not industrial quality. And none of the 20 I've bought over the years. And you'll be glad to have one on hand when your glasses kick out a screw or lenses fall out due to a loose screw. I personally have at least 3 sets of professional jewelry screwdrivers in tool boxes and at the store due to my hobbies. And I just bought FIVE sets of these. One for each vehicle. Another one for my computer desk's trash drawer. One per shaving set (TSA Compliant). The last one in the Go bag. Most of these places also stock a vintage pair of prescription glasses. Because I can't drive without them. WARNING. I've never had one of those repair kits that I like the storage box on. Never. It is a small two-part plastic box that can be disassembled into two parts. lid and can. And I bet money on at least one in four people opening it for the first time and throwing away the contents of the box. The lid is tight, made with two hands. I'm a notch above master mechanic and have been fiddling with my electronics for fun and annoyance and so far I've opened and closed this box 5 times with great trepidation. So far so good, but it's a two-handed box, pressed to my chest, slow, calm, and steady, and I've been paid to open unruly items, so I'm a real pro. If you are reading this then scatter everything to pieces, remember and curse me for clairvoyance. But I warned you. Anyway I bought 5 and I am very happy with my purchase. They are just as good, if not better than what you would buy from an optician, eyewear store, pharmacy or major department store. And at the time of writing this, $1.54 and first class shipping. Next month I plan to buy a few more to hide from myself.
