I have a 2007 Pontiac Vibe with a Toyota engine and transmission. Many articles I've read state that any certified gear oil can be used. I use different brands of oil when choosing my motor oil, but since the cost was only a few dollars more, I decided to get what the manufacturer told me I needed. The job was pretty easy, just remember to tighten the screws. Do not overtighten if the block is aluminum. This is a great product that will help my car for a long time. Thank you Toyota!
