I was skeptical about this product because I thought it wasn't as easy as collaring a cat. I was wrong, luckily I was wrong! I have two cats who have not gotten along well due to a recent move. My sweet, obedient cat who lived with me for more than 8 years turned into a rabid savage when we adopted two cats that my boyfriend wanted to bring to us. My cat was so mad at the new cats that I was scared of her for a month because she was trying (unsuccessfully) to rip my hand into pieces while I was feeding them. She's never done that before. Also, one of the two cats is an intact female, which is a whole different issue that I'll come back to. So my gentle feral cat is finally calm enough to wear this collar and what a difference! She no longer smacks or growls at other animals or tries to harm me. She returned to her sweet ways. Now back to the new cat, an intact female who was in heat and runs around the house at night crying and pissing on things and trying to leave her scent for potential suitors. We're neutering her in a month and in the meantime we still want to be able to sleep let alone have a house without urine. After the intact bitch was collared, she stopped meowing at night. No more cat growls, spanks, meows or urinates. I am pleasantly surprised that this collar works. Highly recommended!
