Review on 🍚 Zojirushi NS-WAC18-WD 10-Cup Micom Rice Cooker and Warmer: Superior Cooking and Storage Companion by John Akins

Mine was purchased in summer 2021 and made in China. but it works great! I was afraid it was made in China and that "they don't make them like they used to" would be a negative. However, it has better reviews than the newer models. Rice is in Normal mode, NOT Advanced. Basically, regular is what the rice cooker finishes cooking. Extended mode is when you manually put it in this mode to expand the image. But ironically, the enhanced mode increases the chances of rice turning yellow due to the lower temperature. Read the manual. I've been eating rice regularly for 98 hours and it's still ok to eat. However, note that this is with 2 cups of brown rice and 3 cups of white jasmine rice (Buda brand). No watery smells etc. But that would probably be the limit I'm willing to go lol. Rice is usually ready for us in 2 days, sometimes in 1. By the way, I am 100% Asian and eat rice several times a day. Many reviewers may only eat rice once a week or a month. You do NOT want to take "rice" advice from someone who doesn't eat rice regularly, LOL. Tiger brand rice cookers were shishnite a few decades ago, but that doesn't make them durable anymore. This is by far the best rice cooker I have ever bought. When searching for "yellow" in reviews, this rice cooker also had the fewest hits. I will update this over the years. 100% Authentic Asian Verified.
