We're from Hawaii, where rice is a staple. This is the BEST rice cooker we have ever had. This model. We had other Zojirushis. This model is the best!

Very disappointed. He worked about 14 months. Will no longer function properly after the warranty has expired. I had to buy an older version made in Japan.

Mine was purchased in summer 2021 and made in China. but it works great! I was afraid it was made in China and that "they don't make them like they used to" would be a negative.
