These are much shorter on the legs than I expected, and they feel like hot pants. Maybe when I lose some weight and firm up my legs I won't care. They are comfortable though. And I won't be embarrassed to wear them around our private pool when it's just family. I wouldn't wear these at a public pool/beach because I like more coverage. If these went to right above the knee, they'd be perfect. They do loosen on the sides, but not enough to make them stretch long enough.
