Review on 🍫 Dymatize ISO 100 Whey Protein Powder: Hydrolyzed, Chocolate Flavor, 1.6lb - 25g Protein per Serving! by Tony Chandler

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I had 9 flavors, here are my thoughts.

Dymatize ISO100 has become my favorite protein powder. I have now tried 9 flavors namely (in no particular order): - Chocolate Caramel - Chocolate Peanut Butter - Cinnamon Bun - Cocoa Pebbles - Cookies and Cream - Fudge Brownie - Gourmet Chocolate - Gourmet Vanilla - Strawberry There are actually four main factors that make this important for me in protein powder; How well it mixes, what's actually in it, how much it costs, and most importantly, the taste. 1) How well it mixes: mixes great, no complaints on that front. Mixes too well. I usually get protein in one of two ways; Mix metal shaker bottle with water or milk, or blend a protein shake/smoothie in a Ninja blender. In both situations I have no problems with the mix. Never comes out lumpy or lumpy. Some flavors mix so well that they are very foamy (more so than other powders) and I really have to wait a bit lest I just drink bubbles. 2) What's in it?: I'm no expert on supplements, but Dymatize's ISO100 contains significantly less cholesterol than many of its competitors, and that's good enough for me. This factor is the least important to me, I don't look too closely at ingredient labels, but my family has heart disease, so the absence of unnecessary cholesterol, which is often present in many powders, is a huge plus. 3) Cost: I think the price of the product is exceptional. Sometimes there are great discounts on certain flavors here at Revain. I'll come back to that in the next section, but while I don't think the Dymatize has the best flavor given the cost, I couldn't be happier. 4) Flavor: GREAT! Gourmet Chocolate is without a doubt my favorite chocolate flavored protein powder. This is entirely subjective of course, but I don't think anything else comes close and I've tried quite an extensive range of chocolates. As a starting point that many people can relate to, I don't like Optimum Nutrition chocolate at all, I find them pretty gross. I'm giving an overall rating of 4 stars because other than the gourmet chocolate, biscuits and cream I didn't find any of the other flavors I tried out of this world. See above for a list of all the chocolate options I've had. I will not buy them again because the gourmet chocolate is simply better than all the others. The difference in taste is so minimal that I don't care if they add variety, but big enough that I see no reason to skip Royal. If you want the chocolate flavor of peanut butter, I think it tastes better to just use gourmet chocolate and then add a tablespoon or two of powdered peanut butter like PB Fit. That's a little more calories for a lot more protein and a lot less artificial flavor. Cookies with cream are my second favorite. It's super tasty too. Now that I've experimented with most flavors, I'll probably stock up on cookies, cream, and gourmet chocolate to keep myself from getting bored. Gourmet vanilla buns and cinnamon buns are ok. If you really like these flavors, I have no complaints. I don't like strawberries in smoothies. Just doesn't sit right on me. Even though it's mixed with almond milk, it's quite tasty. I got tired of this taste very quickly and probably won't buy it again. I'm generally not a fan of fruit flavored protein powders. That's why I don't give 5 stars because I don't like every scent. what can you ask I really love Ghost Protein. I think they have the best flavors if you want 3 or more options. Their coffee flavor is my favorite protein of all time. BUT, Ghost is much more expensive. ISO100 makes me a lot happier when I remember spending a little less per scoop (I usually buy ISO100 cans at Β£3 which are obviously cheaper per ounce). It all comes down to value for money and ISO100 wins for me at the moment. I still buy Ghost from time to time because I really like it. Just for fun, here's my fairly regular protein shake that I have for breakfast almost every morning. 4 cups milk 2 tablespoons powdered peanut butter (I like PB Fit) 1 whole frozen banana 350-400 calorie BANGIN flavored smoothie. If you try it, mix milk, PB powder and protein first. Then add coffee ice cubes and beat for 30 seconds to a minute. Then add banana and beat until desired thickness, another 30 seconds - 1 minute. If you try to make everything at once, there will be too many cold ingredients and the protein and PB powder won't mix as well as they normally would. MANDATORY LAST SENTENCE IN CAPITAL LETTERS AS YOU GET GAINZZZ.
