I used this U-Joint on a 2001 Toyota Tacoma Pre-Runner Crew Cab Rear Driveshaft on the rear axle and it works fine. I used a ball joint press. and a 19 mm socket for installation. After sliding in the shells, attaching the C-clamps (the thickness of which is appropriate for the application), and banging the case a few times to get the joint in place, it feels very smooth either way. After that it took about 9 pumps of lubricant to completely fill the joint. I plan to post an update after I've reinstalled the drive shaft and driven it for a few miles. I replaced this joint because the original stuck in one direction and felt nicked even after greasing. Looking back, maybe I could have reinstalled the old one to make it smoother.
