LOVE IT! I was looking for anything that could help my hair and skin health. As someone in retail/product development, I refuse to pay $100 a box for any other quality, but let's face it - well selling brands. I bought 2 king size ivory pillowcases. I washed the pillowcases in a larger mesh laundry bag and tumble dried on low upon receipt. You wash well. They feel so soft and don't scratch or sag when you run your hand over them. I added a flash photo. This is a hidden zipper. (See image) The zipper doesn't go all the way to the edge, which is the correct way to make a pillowcase. If the flash went all the way to the edge, it would create a hard spot that nobody wants in their eyes while sleeping. I have less full pillows on firmer pillows. I used these covers for less full pillows. They fit easily into the case. Unlike other zippered pillowcases, they seem to have enough room for different types of pillows. After sleeping on it for a week I noticed a HUGE improvement in my hair condition. I could go to sleep with wet hair and wake up with straight hair, unlike my cotton pillowcases where I woke up with the head of the bed. I've read that silk is also good for the skin as it has microbial properties and doesn't absorb serums, lotions and skin care products like cotton does. I can't confirm that I've noticed this while using it, but I haven't noticed any negative results either. The only "con" I have - if I had to choose one - is that I want them to make them in true white. The ivory color doesn't match my white bedding. (See image for comparison.) However, they don't contradict each other either. I will live. Ha ha. Many reviewers talk about fire testing a sample of silk fabric and arguing about what's real and what's not. I did not do it. I believe it's real silk and for the price it's an amazing quality. Even though it turns out not to be real silk, it does the job I was looking for in terms of feel and result with my hair. As an extra, they arrived in a really nice slim navy blue box. Very gift packaging! (I bought 2 pillowcases and they came in 2 separate mailers which was odd.) Because the price is so cheap I buy these for friends and family.
