Review on CBAZY Stranded Flexible Silicone Electric: A Must-Have for Versatile Electrical Applications by Arturo Reyes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

No Complaints - Electric Cable

I have not tested it in any way so the only rating I can give is based on limited use to date. I've used it on a couple of drones and a couple of Pi Zero RTC mods. It didn't shrink or melt when heated, which is what you would expect from silicone wire. The stretch wasn't bad. Didn't bother soldering. When removing the silicone from the wire, it stretched well and didn't rebound much. It's ok as many brands have problem. You just need to be more careful when stripping the wire. Of course it's a thin wire and my regular strippers don't work that low and don't work that well at that size. I just pinch between my nails so of course this problem is probably my own. However, in one case it stretched enough to cover a 2mm wire that I had already stripped of the sheathing from. Pinch wise, works pretty well. It's more expensive, but if you can afford it and don't have the most accurate tools, silicone is the way to go. It is heat resistant, can be used with hot objects and is very flexible and versatile in this regard. I still use PVC but in limited cases e.g. B. on board projects where there is no movement, heat build-up, etc.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Dull Packaging
