Update: I can see some isolation info now. AWG and 200 degrees C. However, the voltage rating is not specified. My concern is that there are no specs printed on the wire's insulation. I would think this is a requirement. Nothing on the box, nothing on the reels. The box has markings for the gauge of wire that is inside. I have 30 AWG and it's perfect for LEDs and other very small wired electronics I have on my bikes. Yes, the insulation is very soft. It bends easily in a small radius and that's the main reason I bought it, so I'm happy. I have serious doubts that silicone is superior in strength to ordinary PVC. Maybe silicone is more heat resistant? All I can tell you is that I stripped this wire very lightly with my nails. I have not tested it in any way so the only rating I can give is based on limited use to date. I've used it on a couple of drones and a couple of Pi Zero RTC mods. It didn't shrink or melt when heated, which is what you would expect from silicone wire. The stretch wasn't bad. Didn't bother soldering. When removing the silicone from the wire, it stretched well and didn't rebound much. It's ok as many brands have problem. You just need to be more careful when stripping the wire. Of course it's a…
