This was the fastest download (write) ever. I used the card on my Android phone as storage for pictures, files and my entire personal CD library with all my music. Cards die after about a year. Does this usually happen after my vacation (X-ray at the airport or other rays from the plane)? And always exchanged under warranty. I seem to have this problem (on XP and Windows 7Pro) when I download a card with my 40GB of MP3 music at 320kbps, the download (write) speed slows down to the point of becoming too slow, the computer times out has errors, and complaints that the drive is no longer available. It didn't crash this time. However, towards the end it slowed down to 1/2-1/4 the normal speed? However, it was over 90% faster than other cards I've ever used. Usually I have to divide music into groups: AG, HN, OS. etc. This takes up most of the 8-hour workday. Although this card was fine (except for the slowing down part).
