Works great with my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge

Increased the capacity of my S7 Edge - only 20GB of 32GB of internal storage is available and I used this micro SD card to increase it. The card showed 120GB available from the advertised 128GB. I've achieved sequential write speeds of over 16MB/s using Crystal Disk Mark, which is more than enough to keep up with my S7 Edge. Camera performance doesn't slow down and I'm not worried about running out of storage space on my phone when taking photos or recording 4K videos. Extremely good value for…

I like extended memory. A few points I did find though

Works great. The weak point was the USB connection of the music source to the phone. So. Tip: Put all your music or data in the case and transfer it without USB if possible during the initial setup. I had problems when I took out the card to add albums a second time. (This messed up my settings and the file structure on my phone.) If you use USB to write data to your device, it will be slow, but it won't corrupt the file structure on your "Samsung" phone. If you have a non-Samsung phone then…

The fastest download.

This was the fastest download (write) ever. I used the card on my Android phone as storage for pictures, files and my entire personal CD library with all my music. Cards die after about a year. Does this usually happen after my vacation (X-ray at the airport or other rays from the plane)? And always exchanged under warranty. I seem to have this problem (on XP and Windows 7Pro) when I download a card with my 40GB of MP3 music at 320kbps, the download (write) speed slows down to the point of…

Fits my needs perfectly.

I just got a Samsung S8 Plus and wanted to get a memory card for it. My Note 5 couldn't use the card so I had to get a new one. But what? There are so many of them! I originally wanted the much more expensive card I saw but couldn't justify the price. I just want to keep my photos, music and apps on the card and all backups are stored in the cloud on one of my computers, so I chose this Samsung EVO 128GB. It wasn't very cheap, but it also didn't break the bank for a card with such a large…

Excellent read speed and acceptable write speed

I bought this micro SD SD card a few days ago, mainly for my smartphone (Axon 7), mainly to store big data and 4K videos. Performance: I use a UHS 1 USB 3.0 card reader for my tests because it supports the full read and write speeds of the UHS 1 standard. Quality cards can offer high initial speeds, but what happens with some is that when all the NAND data is dirty (about 25-50% full), the write speed can drop to 50%; This product does not have this problem. Even if you don't care about…
