Economical, light and bright

I bought six of these modules for various closets around the house. In general, I am very satisfied with the quality of these devices. They look modern in brushed metal with a diffuser that softens the light produced by the LEDs. They attach to any surface with internal magnets, and each unit comes with thin steel adhesive plates (some come with one long plate, others have two smaller plates) that can be taped to any flat surface. The magnetic attachment points are located at the ends of the light band. I installed them all at the top front of the cabinet so the lights come on when the doors are opened. In terms of performance, the light is bright enough and the motion/light sensor is pretty good and works as expected most of the time. There are times when motion capture takes a little longer, but it usually works smoothly. Each light has a selector switch to switch between motion detection and permanent light. Once activated, the light stays on for about 20 seconds if you are not standing in front of it and are not moving. They are charged via a standard mini USB port. I've been using the devices for six months now and none have had to be charged. We had a problem with one of the devices; The battery was empty and the charging process was finally stopped after 6 months. I contacted the TONLIN seller, explained the problem and requested a replacement. They had a new pad in my door within 2 days. Good answer!
