These Realtree interlock base layers are designed for medium sizes. Depending on the cut, I wear medium or large. They tend to be a bit tighter around the waist where I carry my weight. But they're not uncomfortable, not at all. They are a silky material. I can't say anything about the heat because it's very muggy right now and it's 85 degrees. But I think in the cooler months they make a great base later or even to sleep in!
