These shorts have an internal compression lining. Some genius decided that most people want the lining of compression shorts to have stiff seams on the front and back of the crotch area on the inside of the short. You don't have to walk more than five steps to realize how uncomfortable it can get over a few miles or during a workout. The shorts also sit a little low on the bottom, but not in the front. I'm not sure if they weren't cut exactly to pattern or sewn incorrectly. There are a few crooked seams and they don't look like there is adequate quality control at the factory. This is the last time I will buy shorts because they look like a good deal.
